Satan's Day [Demo] Recording

So the recording went pretty good, I just have to solve my ventelation situation in my room so it doesn't gather so much warm humidty as I record and work. So now it's on to doing some fine tuning and working on the next recording. Not sure whice will be the next recording honestly, but I know for a fact this will not be a single CD production, I'm sure it will come in a series or multiples. Well anyways, let's just see what the universe has in store for us.

'La Vagabundo' Album

I've been dipping and dabbing into many different arts lately as you all know. I've been putting alot of time into my first actual studio album. The Album is intitled 'La Vagabundo' very different from my past MP3 albums. My old works were mainly talking on internal and external problems with me, physically and mentally. My new album will be speaking on my adventures and journey's around, the people I meet and the situations I go through, positive and negative. I figure, what's better than doing something I love (traveling and making music) and networking at the same time, I more-so killing 3 birds with one stone.

So right now, I'm sitting in my studio getting to ready to record the track "Satan's Day." The verses in the song speak on the events I encountered on February 14th up till February 22nd. It was about 7 in the afternoon, the sun was setting and I saw this transvestite in full female garbs standing on the corner of 8 mile and some cross road going east of Hazel Park area, I asked the man/woman if he/she could spare a little change so I could get a 40 ounce of Steel Reserve and then he/she went into a big conspiracy theory about how bad the economy is and how the government is compiling devil worship into the minds of Americans. As our conversation progressed I found out that he/she was broke as well and was bluntly trying to suck dick for a few dollars to get some blow (mind you, this is the type of stuff you can't make up.) Ever since that day on February the 14th many more omnious, weird characters have patrolled into my life daily, it's great!

Anyways, in the lyrics themselves you can basically build out the story of what happens yourself. It's quite simple, ust follow me through these twist and turns through the mid-late calendar of February, the month of Satan's Days. So off I go to record this track.

Dope U.K. Emcee's

For the past few months I've been digging the european rap scene alot. I feel as though alot of people are sleeping on some good artist though. Of course there are the well known Emcee's like Root's Manuva, M.I.A, Stimulus, Klashnekoff, MF Doom, MF Grimm, so on and so on. Though me myself I'm the type of person to always root for the underdog and with that being said, I love underground hip hop. The type of hip hop that's keeping old school alive today, that's what I grew up on.

There are alot of emcee's in the U.K in the underground scene that rock mics beyond belief. I'm not selling out american, japanese, any other nationality with some hip hop background but the with the U.K. it just really seems as though they are least mentioned out of the loop than most. I would suggest certain emcee's that I think are astounding but I'm sure you all may have a different taste in what I think is good and your idea of it. All I'll suggest is if you get a chance and if your like me and are always trying to find new things that you can find an interest in, look up some underground U.K. rappers.

What's Going On

Well firstly I would like to say hello to everyone out there that either do or don't know me. Secondly, I would like to introduce myself, I go by many names but I'll be referring to myself as simply DeAngilo Willis today. I'm glad I found this site, it'll give me something to do in the little time I have free during the day. I'm usually consumed with tech geek things, writing, chores around the house, school, work, music, etc; believe it or not, in all actuallity I have a lot of time to throw away. The only time I'm actually consumed is when I have to do multiple things at the same time. This blog should give some people insight into the person I actually am (doubt it) and should allow me too meet many new people. If anything, I would say the core function of this year and the end of last year has had to be networking across the state and hopefully this summer I will have a chance to network across the nation...(westward). I state now, I am a vagabond to the most part. I travel around and connect with many people in hopes that I'll be in the right place at the right time for whatever mission I have in life.

Stepping into the mind of 'la vagabundo', I travel from town to town everyday in Michigan with high hopes of meeting new people, experiencing new things, just loving the thrill and excitment of going to unknown places and being in different situations that I'm not used to.

I recently came across a big group of punk rockers that come from all over Detroit and Michigan in it's self. To the public eye, it would seem as though they might be the most weird, psychotic people you could see roaming the streets of Royal Oak, Michigan/Detroit. I've met alot of eye opening people in my years of living but this has had to be one of the most intriguing. They score over Michigan in many groups, small and big alike. The two groups I've met reside in Ferndale, Michigan and Ann Arbor, Michigan. I've been communicating and visiting the Ferndale house alot lately, there are six people in the house I associate with currently and a few others that live there that I don't know personally and one that I've never even met.

I met them all through my friend David from my college Bible class on friday. The first time we ever spoke, I'm guessing he had noticed the cut marks on my arm from my youth and on our class break he asked me, "Were you a cutter?" I answered normally as I usually would with "Yes. Why?" He told me how he was a cutter as well in his youth and from that day forward we have almost been unseprable. We decided to get high that day after class using marajuana. We were looking for a place to smoke out, relax, and chat when he noted that we weren't to far from his friends' house (The Ferndale House), so we walked a few miles and talked on the way there. I also found out that he is a vagabond and has been traveling for years. We've been conquring the concrete of southeast Michigan since then. Ever since that one faithful day after Bible class with Dave and I, we have made a tradition to get high after class, every friday...actually whenever we see each other but the tradition is on friday's known as H.S.I.F (Holy Smokes It's Friday.)

Well anyways, my blogs will be something of this sort...just longer haha... It'll mainly be things pertaining to my travels, people, global issues, religions, music, things that catch my interest. Well this is it for the first bloggage. (o_O??)
